Growing up in France, Poland, Israel, India, UK, Argentina, and Jersey, each member of Ballet d’Jèrri contributes their own unique perspective, training, and experience, creating a body that is greater than the sum of its parts. In this session we will talk about the origins of the first professional dance company in the Channel Island, where we fit as a part of the international sector and our community here in Jersey, and what the future holds for the ballet company that started in a potato shed.
