We are a proudly international group of Jersey-residents, and we were so pleased to be invited to celebrate our personal, national, and professional ties with France by participating in Jersey’s Le French Festival on 14th July in Royal Square.

Schedule of Events:

17:30 to 17:40 - Official opening of Le French Festival by the Committee's Chairman.

Awards of the children's posters competition.

17:40 to 17:50 - French Section Eisteddfod winners will perform a poem, text or song.

17:50 to 18:00 - Ballet d'Jèrri.

18:00 to 19:00 - Bastille day ceremony:

Speech by the Honorary French Consul.

Singing of La Marseillaise.

Vin d'honneur (complimentary drink & nibbles, we have it on good authority that there will be wine and cheese!)

19:00 to 20:00 - Dis-moi tes amours ! A lyrical performance by Lyrisme de Rue with Opera singers and 2 musicians.

20:00 to 22:00 - DJ Stefunk with French music mix
