Hannah Wilcox

Hannah is a seasoned professional dancer who grew up in Southern California. She began studying ballet at the age of five at the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy, where she trained under the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) curriculum. Throughout her formative years, she continued to perform and participate in RAD examinations, eventually spending her senior year of high school at the North Carolina School of the Arts. After graduating from NCSA, Hannah spent two years in the Professional Division at Pacific Northwest Ballet before being recruited to launch her professional career with Grand Rapids Ballet. There, she had the opportunity to perform a diverse range of works, including several iconic Balanchine ballets, and expanded her repertoire with both ballet and contemporary choreography.

Seeking new opportunities, she moved back to Los Angeles, where she worked with Barak Ballet and pursued freelance projects. Her career took an international turn when she joined the Royal Swedish Ballet in 2018, before finding her ideal artistic home with Les Ballets de Monte Carlo in early 2019. Over the next several years, Hannah toured globally with the company, performing in major theaters and festivals around the world.

After retiring from full-time ballet in August 2023, Hannah was initially set on moving away from the stage. However, she is thrilled to be returning for a special engagement with Ballet d'Jerri in this exciting double bill, marking a joyful return to the dance world.
